How do I deactivate AccurioPro?
This document describes how to deactivate an entire AccurioPro installation. Once the software has been deactivated, you can delete the software (so that it no longer prompts for activation), install the software onto a different computer, or re-install the software onto the same computer.
MOVING YOUR SOFTWARE TO A DIFFERENT COMPUTER
The AccurioPro software products allow you to transfer the software license between different computers. To do this, you must first deactivate the license on the computer where it has been installed. Once deactivated, the software can then be installed and activated on a different computer. If you do intend to re-activate the software, please be sure to make a copy of your Order Code as this will be required for re-activation. Instructions for this are provided below.
HOW TO DEACTIVATE ACCURIOPRO SOFTWARE
To deactivate AccurioPro software, please do the following:
- Open the AccurioPro menu and choose Help > About AccurioPro.
This will open the About AccurioPro window. - Click the License Info... button. This will show you a list of the active modules on your system.
As mentioned above, you may wish to make a copy of the Order Code for the software as this code will be required in order to re-activate your software. Your Order Code will be displayed in the Main License Details area, as shown in the screen shot below:
- To deactivate AccurioPro (and all associated optional modules), simply click the Deactivate button and follow the prompts.
You will need to quit Adobe InDesign once you have deactivated the software, so please be sure to close all document windows.
Your AccurioPro software has now been deactivated and you may use your Order Code to install the software onto a different computer (or reinstall onto the same computer).
HOW TO PERMANENTLY REMOVE ACCURIOPRO SOFTWARE
Deactivating the software does not remove the software from your system. If you want to permanently remove the software from your system (so it does not attempt to load when InDesign starts up), please see the following article:
